2009 Mule Deer Season

The 2009 mule deer season was once again highly successful for Non-Typical Outfitters. We started the season with more pre-scouted big deer than years past. There was an increase in antler growth this year compared to last year. We took some great bucks in the early part of the season in spite of the extremely hot temperatures. Toward the end of the season the weather began to cooperate with some snow in the high country. That produced some tremendous opportunities. We killed some great bucks in the snow, and missed some even better ones. There were also some great deer that were passed up. They will be even bigger for next year!
